BigIron | John Deere - Brand Partnership
This project was a brand partnership proposal deck created for BigIron and Sullivan Auctioneers in collaboration with John Deere. The goal of the deck was to demonstrate the value of a strategic partnership that would allow John Deere to reduce dealership inventory through auctions, while still benefiting from key revenue streams. The proposal outlined how John Deere could continue to offer their insurance packages and financing programs, giving buyers access to auction pricing while still utilizing authorized dealerships for warranties and financial services. I developed a comprehensive marketing strategy to support the partnership, including trade show banners, targeted email campaigns, website takeovers, social media promotions, and paid digital advertising.
As part of the marketing strategy outlined in the proposal deck, I developed a targeted email campaign to highlight the value-added services offered by John Deere. Dedicated emails were planned for all active bidders, showcasing John Deere Financing and PowerGard™ Warranty options—emphasizing how buyers could still benefit from dealership-level services even when purchasing at auction. To increase visibility, banner ads promoting these services were also to be featured in our weekly newsletter, which reaches all registered bidders. Post-auction, winning bidders would receive a personalized follow-up email congratulating them and introducing them directly to the dealership and a designated John Deere representative, creating a seamless handoff for setting up warranty and financing plans.

At trade shows, our branded booth would feature eye-catching banners designed to spotlight the unique advantages of purchasing John Deere equipment through auction while still accessing dealership-level support. Our sales reps would be trained to engage attendees by explaining how buyers can secure competitive financing rates and comprehensive warranty coverage directly through local John Deere dealerships—even after buying at auction. Reps would also provide printed brochures and digital sign-up forms to help prospects connect directly with dealership contacts, reinforcing a high-touch, relationship-driven approach.
