BRANDING

This project involved developing a logo for a new agricultural business entering the custom spraying industry, with plans to expand into additional services over time. The goal was to create a mark that clearly reflects its roots in agriculture while remaining flexible enough to grow beyond a single offering. The final direction balances industry-specific cues with a broader visual identity, allowing the brand to evolve alongside the business.

The inspiration phase began with a broad review of agricultural companies, comparing established, well-known brands with newer and emerging businesses in the space. This process focused on analyzing logo styles, visual trends, and overall brand presence—identifying what felt successful, what felt dated or less effective, and why. These insights helped inform a direction that balances familiarity within the ag industry while avoiding common pitfalls, allowing the brand to feel both relevant and distinct.

INSPIRATION

The final logo centers around soybean leaves as the primary icon, paired with the company name to create a clear and recognizable mark. The leaves were also developed as a standalone icon, allowing for flexible use across different applications. This approach maintains a strong connection to agriculture while providing a simple, versatile visual that can scale with the brand.

FINAL LOGO

SWAG

The client wanted branded merchandise that could serve both as personal wear and as a meaningful thank-you for customers. A hat was selected as the primary item due to its broad appeal and one-size-fits-all practicality, helping streamline inventory. For the design, we introduced a more spraying-focused concept—featuring a blueprint-style illustration of the client’s John Deere sprayer. This approach adds a personal and technical touch, creating something that feels both functional and uniquely tied to the business.
